Nearly the end of November

Sun Nov 22, 2009, 3:00 PM
and Christmas is coming closer. Lots of things has happenend since my last journal. In May, I was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease, which was a bit of a chock to the old system. Never the less, I took the bull by the horns, and have turned the whole thing into something positive (you can't keep a good dog down)I now go for a walk every morning, and have followed the changes in the nature, from May up to now. So many little things, such as fresh dew on the grass, and the colours in the sky etc. Quite humbling and also giving inspiration to paintings etc.
Oh and I've lost a stone and a half, so the ol' horse is pleased, not having to carry a dead weight around on our outings:-)
Ofcourse I got put on medication, and that has helped a lot, I can even play my guitar again (well attempting to play) - I haven't been able to play the last 3 years, and it never occured to me,that there might be an underlaying course. Have even ordered a wonderfully silly looking ukelele to learn to play - it resembles a kiwi fruit!!! Well this is just one little thing I want to try, before the Parkinsons kicks in big style.
That's all for now folks, hope I didn't bore the socks off ya!

Ooops I had you confused with another wonderful iland dwelling friend....But you should check out sketchfu it's a bit of a challenge to learn to draw there, but if you can draw with a mouse it's kind of fun and good practice.
